Another Way Through supports larger article text, narrow screens, visible keyboard focus and plainly labeled question and search controls.
Adjust the reading size
The header’s Larger text button increases the main article, policy, introduction and question-panel text from 22 to 26 pixels. Standard text reverses the change. The setting is local to this page session and resets on reload; browser zoom remains available.
Move with the keyboard
A skip link leads to the main content. Native buttons open and close the question panels and identify their expanded state. The Show all questions control opens the full board. Article contents and source records use native expandable sections, and links have visible focus indicators.
Follow the page structure
Headings identify the publication’s treatment areas, articles and sources. Controls state their function in words. Treatment groups are not distinguished by color alone, and their position does not communicate a treatment recommendation.
Checks and practical limits
We test narrow layouts, larger text, keyboard operation and automated accessibility findings before release. These checks cannot establish compatibility with every assistive technology or reader’s needs. External treatment and source websites have separate designs that this publication does not control.
